This artwork captures the haunting beauty of a forgotten forest, where two white swans swim across dark waters beneath the shadows of ancient trees.
Legend tells of two lovers who vanished into the lake centuries ago, cursed by a mysterious spirit that is hidden beneath its waters. Every night, their souls return as two white swans. They say those who wander too close can hear their sorrowful cries beneath the water, calling for someone to take their place.
I wanted this painting to feel haunting yet strangely beautiful, like a forgotten fairytale where love survives, but not every curse is meant to be broken.
